A beginner-friendly, hands-on day where high school students learn practical programming and build creative interactive projects—while exploring the University of Toledo's College of Engineering.

Event Highlights

KEYNOTE SESSION

Inspirational talk from industry leaders sharing insights on creativity, innovation, and real-world tech applications. Learn how to think like creators and innovators, not just consumers of technology.

CAMPUS TOUR

Guided exploration of the College of Engineering, featuring research labs, student organizations, and demonstrations by the student organizations and labs.

CODING WORKSHOP

A beginner-friendly coding workshop where students learn programming fundamentals and build interactive mini-projects (logic, loops, and interactivity).

PROJECT BUILD

Students brainstorm and build interactive projects with guidance from mentors for debugging and refinement.

MENTORSHIP

University mentors provided guidance and support throughout the development process, helping participants debug, refine, and polish their creative ideas.

AWARDS CEREMONY

Students present final projects to judges and receive feedback, with winners celebrated at the end of the day.
